Terms of service
How a request works.
These terms apply when you use borso.shop or ask Borso to find a watch. “Borso”, “we”, and “us” mean Borso, as identified in the Legal notice.
1. Watches found on request
Borso finds watches on request through our network of dealers, collectors, and private owners. We do not hold permanent stock: each watch is located for a specific request.
Watches shown on this website are indicative examples of what can be requested. They are not offers for sale, and listing a watch does not mean it is available. Submitting the contact form or messaging us is a request for help, not an order, and does not create a contract to buy or sell anything.
2. No obligation on either side
We do our best to find the watch you ask for, but we cannot promise that a watch will be found, or found at a particular price or within a particular time. You are free to decline any watch we present, and we may decline any request without giving a reason.
3. Agreeing a purchase
When a suitable watch is found, we confirm its reference, condition, accessories, and price. Each purchase is agreed individually and confirmed in writing before you pay, including who the seller is, how payment and delivery work, and which guarantee and return rights apply.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, such as the legal guarantee or, for distance purchases, the right to withdraw.
4. Price
There is no separate fee for our service. The price we confirm is the full price you pay for the watch. Prices are confirmed individually for each request and may change until the purchase is agreed.
5. Authenticity and condition
We work only with sellers we have reason to trust and take reasonable care to check what is presented. On request, and where agreed, we can arrange an inspection by an independent watchmaker before you pay. Descriptions of a watch's condition, history, and accessories come from the seller. Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, Borso does not guarantee the authenticity, condition, or performance of a watch, and we recommend independent verification for every purchase.
6. Identity and compliance checks
High-value transactions are subject to anti-money-laundering and sanctions rules. We may ask buyers and sellers for proof of identity, address, and source of funds before an introduction or a sale, and we may stop at any point if those checks are not completed or raise concerns. We will not knowingly deal in watches that are stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise unlawful.
7. Your information
Please give us accurate details. We share your name or contact details with a seller only after telling you first. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.
8. Brands and website content
Borso is not affiliated with any watch manufacturer. Brand and model names are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify watches. Images are for illustration and may not show the exact piece offered.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Borso is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of third parties we do not control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email getwatch@borso.shop and we will respond as quickly as we can. Consumers may also contact an out-of-court dispute resolution body: in the Czech Republic, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz); in Spain, the Consumer Arbitration System (Sistema Arbitral de Consumo).
11. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your request applies. These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Borso is registered. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
